Line Art
Today the children created a whole class piece of Art. We used lots of different lines we have learnt during our Art topic, such as straight, diagonal, cross- hatch, wavy and vertical. We created a fantastic under the sea picture !

Deciduous and Evergreen Tree Hunt
Today the children explored our playground in search of Deciduous and Evergreen trees. We filled in a tally chart every time we found a certain tree. We then counted up the tally marks and discovered there are deciduous trees in our school grounds.

Sorting Different Materials
Our new topic in Science is Materials. We looked at lots of different materials and sorted them into groups. We then searched around our classrooms for other objects we could include. We did a great job.

Child led liturgy
Three of our class members planned their own liturgy with Mrs Griffiths. They decided to base their liturgy on angels. They set up our liturgy cloth and chose which objects they wanted to place down. They found a story in the bible which included Angel Gabriel. They did a great job.…

Points of the compass
The children have been learning all about the points of the compass. We put our skills to the test by pretending we were treasure hunters in search of the gold. We took it in turns to be blind folded and give each other directions to find the gold. We did amazing and remembered the points of…

The Elves and the Shoemaker
Today we have read the story, ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker,’ we really enjoyed the story! We then pretended we were the helpful elves and designed our own shoes. We used lots of brilliant adjectives to describe the shoes we had designed.
