Trench cake anyone?
In class we have been making '1916 Trench Cake' with Mrs Neville. This cake got it's name during World War 1 as it was sent to the soldiers in the trenches from their loved ones. We used all the ingredients that were used back in 1916. We'll let you know what it tastes like!!

Today Y4 were put through their paces by British Paralympian Lee Whiteley. There were a few red faces when they had finished!

Cafod cake sale!
Year 5 raised a magnificent £103 at their cake sale for Cafod. Well done to all the bakers and thanks to all the buyers!

World Book Day was music to my ears...
Well done to Year 4, not only did they look fantastic on World Book Day but they also played fantastic as they learnt to play the ukulele with Mr Simms from St Anthony's.

We have been having music lessons with Mr Simms from St Antony's Catholic College. The first task he set us was to make our own musical instruments.
The instruments produced were amazing!

Our one and only visit to the police station!
We had a great day visiting Stretford Police Station, although some found the cells a little bit too cosy!
