Gaelic Football with Lancashire GAA
Over the last few weeks coaches from Lancashire GAA have been in school teaching Y4 the basics in Gaelic football. Despite the cold conditions the children have been having a great time.

Egg-citing news at St Hugh's!
Something amazing happened over night at our school. Two giant eggs or so they appeared were found in the middle of the school field. Scientists arrived to investigate. In Y4 we did our own investigations and came up with some interesting results. Watch this space...

Can you solve it?
This weeks 'Think Friday', proved to be a real challenge for Year 4, as none of the children managed to solve this puzzle!
The objective of the problem was to make the ball miss the goal by moving only two sticks. Can you solve it?

It's that 'Think Friday' feeling...
In this weeks 'Think Friday', the class played a game called 'Traffic Lights'. The objective of the game was to get three counters of the same colour in a row, column or diagonal using a 3 x 3 grid. There were certain rules they had to follow, hence there was a lot of head scratching going on!!…

Cricket with LCCC
This afternoon Year 4 had a fun cricket session with Derek from the Lancashire County Cricket Board, focussing on catching and the art of batting. Are we looking at the next Alastair Cook?
