Stone Age Necklace
We have been making Stone Age necklaces out of clay. We discussed how real Stone Age necklaces were made out of bone and the teeth of the animals.

Dividing with remainders

Stone Age jewerelly
After moulding our necklaces out of clay we left them to dry over night. Today we could paint them and thread string through the different beads.

Stone Age Poetry
We made some fantastic poems about a fire in the Stone Age. We had to make sure we used a noun first, followed by a verb. The children then put actions to their wonderful poems and performed them to the class.

kindle gathering,
flint colliding,

Reuse, Reduce, Recycle
We have had some very special visitors from Trafford Council in our class today. They told us all about things we can do to protect our environment by making sure we recycle in class and at home. It is extremely important we all try our best to reuse, reduce and recycle.

Rock types
We have used different layers placed on top of each other to form sedimentary rock, tomorrow when it has set we can cut our rock out of the plastic glass and examine the layers.

We have experimented making our versions of igneous rock. We melted some 'lave' and left it to cool to form igneous rock.

Cave paintings
We learnt all about Stone Age cave paintings and had a go at creating our own. They looked fantastic!
