Cooking with Rations
Year 6 baked carrot cookies with Mrs Blackwell today. They followed an old wartime recipe. The children thought they were delicious!

Year 5 became great problem solvers today. They worked out that the time would have to be 9:10 or 14:15. It was also discovered that the next consecutive date would be 90 years away on the 1/2/3 (2103). Well done Year 5!

Christmas Time in Reception!
We have had a very festive morning in reception, we listened to some Christmas music and decorated our tree with special baubles from home. We had a hot chocolate with marshmallows too!

Gaelic Football with Lancashire GAA
Over the last few weeks coaches from Lancashire GAA have been in school teaching Y4 the basics in Gaelic football. Despite the cold conditions the children have been having a great time.

A Very Victorian Christmas!
Year 5 are finding out about how Victorians celebrated Christmas. They will be making crackers, carol singing and drinking punch!

A Christmas Carol
We really enjoyed reading the first part of 'A Christmas Carol' today. We had to pretend we were Scrooge and not like Christmas! It was very difficult because we all love Christmas in Year 5!
