Our Autumn Walk!
Today we went on a lovely walk to Lostock Park! We collected leaves, berries, conkers and acorns. We did bark rubbing, crunched the leaves and found lots of animals too. We finished off our little outing having a play on the park and our morning snack in the Autumn sunshine. What a nice way to…

EYFS Collective Worship

Lark Hill Museum
Year 5 loved learning about the Victorians and becoming time detectives when handling artefacts. They also found out that Queen Victoria visited Manchester!

Our Mud Kitchen Cafe!
The children have been exploring our mud kitchen, cooking all sorts of wonderful meals using herbs and mud! The children then created a seating area for their very own "Mud Cafe".

Manchester Dogs Home
I am so proud of my Year 5 children who made cakes to fundraise for Manchester Dogs Home. The children also brought in dog food and blankets to help the charity.
Well done Year 5, a magnificent £41.08 raised.

Year 5 have begun to read Street Child. The story is set in victorian times and is about a boy called Jim who tries to escape the dreaded workhouse and find his family.
