Measuring Jelly Snakes
Year 4/5 were set a challenge on how far they could stretch a jelly snake without it snapping. Using centimetres, millimetres and also converting into metres the children used rulers to measure.

Absolutely Amazing ‘The Arrival’ Poetry
Year Six have wrote amazingly poignant poetry, considering a range of themes based the graphic novel ‘The Arrival’.
Some have even reduced Mrs Jones to tears!

Making the Uk out of play dough
Today we were set the challenge of making the UK out of play dough. We weren't allowed to look at any maps! We had to use our own knowledge to make the shape and place the country names where we thought they went. We had lots of great discussions!
Voting for Storytime
This week we have been voting for our end of the day story by placing a cube into the tub next to the book we want to have. This has created lots of discussion in Reception! We have done this to encourage independence and to introduce the ideas of fairness, choices and voting.
