UK artist study - Damien Hirst
As part of our UK topic we will be studying some famous artists from across the UK. We have started with Damien Hirst, we have been mixing paint colours to create some wonderful pieces of art in the style of Hirst.
Geography skills
We have been placing locations from our story, 'The Queen's Handbag.' We have been using the atlas to place the locations on a map of the UK.
Magic potion capacity lesson
We made a magic potion which had to be 500mls in capacity. We had to measure very accurately. We made some fantastic potions.
Library visit
This morning we had a lovely time at Urmston Library and we covered lots of learning along the way too! We looked at the changes in seasons since our Autumn Walk, we looked at our local area and we also covered road safety and the importance of exercise! Whilst at the Library we listened to lots…
