In design technology we have been learning about pop-up features and movements. Today we practiced making pop-up concertinas and a flower pot lever in preparation for making our very own pop-up class storybook.

Thanks to Mr Sandham who was our judge who decided which group had been most successful in creating the ‘winning poo’ and so had created the best digestive system in Science today !

Memorial Walk
Y6E really enjoyed walking to our local war memorials today. We spent time appreciating the impact of the World Wars on our local area. The children were very respectful and their behaviour was fantastic.

We went in a walk around our local area to look at the features as part of our geography curriculum and ‘outdoor classroom’ day. We recorded our findings and discussed them in class.
