Fraction Posters

Today we made fraction posters, using all the different ways we have been learning about them. Including pizza fractions, number lines and adding fractions to make 1 whole.

Viking Brooches

We used our designs from yesterday to help make our brooches. We used tools to make marks and patterns on the brooches and we added jewels just like the Vikings would have.

Viking Brooches

Year 3 have been design their very own Viking Brooches, we have learnt that they were used for fastening their clothes together. They were also a piece of decorative jewllery.

Support For Spelling

Today year 3 have been playing a word class game, discussing adverbs, pronouns, determiners, adjectives, nouns and verbs.

Estimating

Year 3 have been placing 3 digit numbers on number lines, we estimated where we thought the numbers should be put. We made a human number line to help us.
