Bake off!
Every Thursday afternoon children in Reception are going to take turns baking with Mrs White. This week's delights were Banana Muffins! The children weighed out ingredients, counted out equipment and followed instructions to name just a few skills they developed whilst having such fun!

Allotment fun!
As part of our new Science topic 'Plants and Growth' this week we have been learning all about vegetables that grow in the allotments. We dug up potatoes, tasted chives and planted seeds. Thanks also to Mrs Karran who came to talk to us about the allotments and showed us how to plant.

Police horses!
We were so lucky this week to have a visit from two police horses- Copperfield and Steele as part of our Science topic. We learnt so much about the important job they do and also how to care for horses. We are also really happy that St Hugh of Lincoln have adopted Steele! Thanks GMP and thanks…

Our visit from Nibbles and Misty
Thank you to Mrs White for bringing in her two Guinea pigs 'Nibbles' and 'Misty' as part of our Science topic 'Pets'. We all had a little hold and enjoyed feeding them spinach!

Our visit from Blue Cross
We were really lucky to have a talk all about looking after pets from Paul who works for the charity Blue Cross. We really enjoyed his puppet dog 'Dubie' and learning all about the work Blue Cross do. Thank you Paul!

Everybody dance now!
