Pyjama Day
For excellent behaviour recently and achieving all their Secret Agent Tokens Year 6 had a very special treat.
They chose to wear their pyjamas for the day. Thank you and well done Year 6 for being such good Agents.

Violin Assembly
Half of our amazing violinists treated the school to a great conert in assembly. They were fabulous especially as some were only 4!

Manchester United
On Wednesday night we took 33 children to Old Trafford to watch Manchester United play Sunderland. As ever the children were very well behaved and really enjoyed the trip, apart from the result obviously!

Father Christmas
Father Christmas came to school today to visit all the children.

Cally the Guide Dog
After singing beautifully at Sainsbury's we took the choir to choose a puppy on behalf of all the children.
In 2014 we will be sponsoring a puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Cornerstone
Today the School Council delivered our donations of tinned and dried food to the Cornerstone Centre in Manchester.

Walking Bus
Researchers from Salford and Edinburgh Universities joined the Walking Bus to finalise the Walking Bus App they have developed. They filmed the children and parents using the App to track the bus on its route.

Children's Book Week
In assembly we discussed some of my favourite books ready for Children's Book Week next week. We looked at Mr Stink and You Choose.
To celebrate next week we are asking the children to bring in their favourite books to share with their class mates.

George's Swim!

Roald Dahl
In assembly this week we talked about Roald Dahl as today would have been his birthday. We talked about all of his books and stories and I dressed as a giant peach as this was my favourite book as a child.
