Bonjour, Konnichiwa, Hola, Djin Dobre, Guten Tag Year 1!

How are we all? Did we all enjoy our weekend?

This weeks home learning is all about the environment and the weather. You could keep a weather diary and perhaps even make a rain gauge - I have gave mum's and dad's lots of activities and video links to help you. 

Do you remember reading 'The Messy Magpie' in class? I have put a link up for your grown ups to read with you and a powerpoint activity and there is a new book called 'Percy the Park Keeper' which we haven't read in class but you can listen to it on YouTube.

This week, on the 23rd April it is St George’s Day, why don’t you find out about St George this week? 

Do you remember using Scratch Junior in our computer lessons? Adding a background, adding characters and making them shrink and grow. See if you can create a new program adding in a different background - maybe a scene from The Messy Magpie.

Your parents might be able to download the free app for you so that you can practice coding.
