Letter to Y1S

Dear Edward, Zarah, Dominik, Caleb, Esme, Ahmad, Theo, Rory, James, Oliver, Freya, Eva, Eoghan, Joseph, David, lily, Freyah, Isabel, Taylon, Harry, Lois, Sara and Alicia!

I hope that you have had a lovely week. The weather has been beautiful so we have spent a lot of time in the garden. Ben likes to set up obstacle courses in the garden for us to complete. I have to do press ups, skipping, running and netball. It is great fun! I have been helping Ben with his school work too. Lucy is going to university soon so we are very excited about that.

This week two people in our class have their birthdays on the same day! Freya and Oliver were both born on the 19th April. Happy 6th birthday Freya and Oliver! 

This week your home learning is about the environment and the weather. You could keep a weather diary and perhaps even make a rain gauge like the one we had in class. 

Did you know that on the 23rd April it is St George’s Day? Why don’t you find out about St George  this week? 

Do you remember using Scratch Junior in our computer lessons? Your parents might be able to download the free app for you so that you can practice coding.
