Thank you to all who came to the EYFS Coffee afternoon! We raised £166 for Macmillan and Marie Curie Cancer Care. Thanks also to all those who baked or donated a raffle prize.

'Thank you' Assembly

Every Tuesday Reception and Nursery enjoy collective worship, we sing and listen to gospel stories. We also share prayers and the wonderful work we have done in class. Today we have shared our pictures about how God loves each of us.

Lark Hill Museum

Year 5 loved learning about the Victorians and becoming time detectives when handling artefacts. They also found out that Queen Victoria visited Manchester!

Today we have been finding objects that match the letters and sounds on our crowns. We are working very hard in Phonics!

Year 5 decided to show their working out on the school playground! They loved making big jumps and working as a team!

Our Mud Kitchen Cafe!

The children have been exploring our mud kitchen, cooking all sorts of wonderful meals using herbs and mud! The children then created a seating area for their very own "Mud Cafe".

Manchester Dogs Home

I am so proud of my Year 5 children who made cakes to fundraise for Manchester Dogs Home. The children also brought in dog food and blankets to help the charity.

Well done Year 5, a magnificent £41.08 raised.

Street Child

Year 5 have begun to read Street Child. The story is set in victorian times and is about a boy called Jim who tries to escape the dreaded workhouse and find his family.

PE Wednesday afternoons

A great afternoon out in the heat! We are looking at passing skills in PE. Sadly over half of the class didn't have a PE kit today. Please can you make sure that your child has their kit in school everyday.

We are super at counting in Reception!

We have been using lots of different resources to count and sort during our play learning. We are learning to recognise numbers and carefully counting objects to represent the number. We are just wonderful at counting in reception!
