Making bread

This week we have read the story 'The Little Red Hen '

just like the hen in the story we helped Mrs Willows to bake some bread !

All the practising paid off and Y5/6 presented a fabulous assembly with an important message: How important it is to celebrate our unique talents and differences. Well done Y5/6, the acting, singing and clearly spoken parts were fabulous.

This afternoon we used the program Scratch to write different Algorithms. We had lots of fun choosing different sprites and backgrounds.

Year 6 enjoyed a special visit from the Manchester Fire Service.

World Book Day 2017

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service

Year 6 have enjoyed a visit from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service today, they were shown around the fire engine and have learnt about the types of incidents that the fire fighters attend.
