Making the Uk out of play dough
Today we were set the challenge of making the UK out of play dough. We weren't allowed to look at any maps! We had to use our own knowledge to make the shape and place the country names where we thought they went. We had lots of great discussions!
Voting for Storytime
This week we have been voting for our end of the day story by placing a cube into the tub next to the book we want to have. This has created lots of discussion in Reception! We have done this to encourage independence and to introduce the ideas of fairness, choices and voting.
