The children decorated their vases with authentic Greek patterns and depictions from the first Olympics games. They look wonderful!

Greenhouse planting!
We completed the final stage in our DT project and planted some seeds and herbs to go in our homemade greenhouses. The children have really enjoyed this topic!

Greek Vase Art
Today we started to learn about how the Olympic Games came about, back in Ancient Greek times. We discovered that a lot of the history from this time was recorded on wonderful vases! We started to make our own vases and tomorrow we will decorate them in the same theme.

Solving the case of the missing glue sticks!
We love a good puzzle in Year 4! We enjoy solving mysteries and working together as a team. These ‘escape room’ style puzzles call on our maths skills and reading/applying skills.
