Meeting a Zoologist
Today we had a real treat when Hayley, Mrs Blackwell's daughter, came to talk to us about her job. She is a zoologist and works in Botswana studying elephants. She showed us photographs of the animals and of where she lives. She sleeps in a tent and can hear the elephants outside at night! Thankā¦

Allotment fun!
As part of our new Science topic 'Plants and Growth' this week we have been learning all about vegetables that grow in the allotments. We dug up potatoes, tasted chives and planted seeds. Thanks also to Mrs Karran who came to talk to us about the allotments and showed us how to plant.
