Deciduous and Evergreen Tree Hunt
Today the children explored our playground in search of Deciduous and Evergreen trees. We filled in a tally chart every time we found a certain tree. We then counted up the tally marks and discovered there are deciduous trees in our school grounds.

Today we have read the story, ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker,’ we really enjoyed the story! We then pretended we were the helpful elves and designed our own shoes. We used lots of brilliant adjectives to describe the shoes we had designed.

Putting the amount of letters in our names into groups
Today we wrote our names on whiteboards, we then counted the letters in our names and put ourselves into groups. We predicted which group would have the most in it. We found out that children with 4 letters in their names were the greatest group.

RE bedtime prayers
Today in RE we pretended we were CBeebies TV presenters and filmed each other reading our bedtime prayers. In our prayers we thanked God for looking after us and anyone else who had helped us that day.
