Y6E had a fantastic time investigating solids and liquids today. It was very messy but fortunately the children were fantastic at cleaning up!

Today we had a visit from Mr Doyle, who is a Watch Manager at Broughton Fire Station, he told us all about his dedication to his job and explained some of the things he has to do.The children asked lots of fantastic questions too!

Year 6 had a fantastic time at the Marist Centre in Chorlton today. The children enjoyed reflecting on their time at St. Hugh's and remembering what happened at the Last Supper. A lovely way to spend Maundy Thursday.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
Year 6 have enjoyed a visit from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service today, they were shown around the fire engine and have learnt about the types of incidents that the fire fighters attend.
