Kandinsky

We have been finding out about a man called Wassily Kandinsky. He was an artist who lived a long time ago. He decided to paint pictures of shapes using lots of colours. When we looked at some of his paintings we could see different things like strawberries, a boomerang and even a trumpet. Kandinsky is very famous for his painting called ‘Squares with Concentric Circles’. We made our own version of his painting using watercolour paints. We also used crayons and our colourful shapes to make pictures as we listened to music!
