Lunar New Year

We have been finding out about Lunar New Year. We heard the story about the Emperor and the animal race. The race was won by the rat, each year is named after a different animal, this year is the Year of the Dragon. We made dragon pictures by squishing red and yellow paint on our hand and then we made a hand print body for the dragon. We had noodles for our snack and we watched the amazing lion dancers! We love celebrations!
