Hello everyone,
I’m feeling positive this week, things feel like they are looking up. I am delighted to have some of my class back. Last week, Oliva G, Olivia S, Kate, Scarlett and Amelia all came back for two days, followed by Bella, Sienna, Daniel, Lucy and Ciaran on Thursday and Friday- it was fantastic to see them. Not forgetting my surprise visit off Shelmo today- which made my day! I just wish I could have you all back before you say goodbye and head off to pastures new.
I’m sure some of you have been reunited with your grandparents, I was delighted to have my mum round at my house last week and she could even give Sam and Thomas lots of cuddles- it was brilliant. Another exciting thing to happen was football training starting again for my boys- they are so happy!
As always, I hope you are managing to squeeze in some work at home. Please look in the ‘Home Learning’ section of the school website for some ideas on what to work on this week. There’s plenty of Corbett Maths to be getting on with, I’ve directed you to certain videos and worksheets, that you don’t need to print out. Also you can sharpen your skills with the 5 a day tasks too.
I have left a transition booklet for you in the entrance area of school, please, please come and get one. The Home Learning section on the school website will explain which section to work on each week.
Please feel free to email any work to me at school,I’d love to see what you have been working on or write me a letter, it would be great to hear from you.
Mr Mountcastle, Mrs Jones and I have been discussing how to mark the end of your time at St. Hugh’s, we are working on some kind of celebration, we are not entirely sure yet, because we still have a number of restrictions to consider- but WATCH THIS SPACE!
Take care, I miss you all so much, can’t wait to see you again,
lots of love
Mrs Evans and Mrs Stanley xxxx
