Hello Y6,
Hope you have had a safe week with your families and are beginning to appreciate some of the new the Lockdown rules. By now, hopefully you are back into your home learning routines and are well on your way with the completion of the planning for week 10.
The staff at school have been busily preparing school this week for those of you who are returning to school. This has been exciting and sad in equal measures; exciting because we finally get to see some of you soon but we will miss those of you who are not returning yet.
There will be a few changes this week for all of us.
One such change is the addition of our PSHE transition topic, based around the book ‘Go Big’ by Matthew Burton. You do not have to have the book to complete the work, but it is a useful guide to Y7. We will be suggesting PSHE tasks to do along side but we are providing the photocopied work books for you. (See main photograph).
If you are returning to school next week then you will receive these in class from your teacher. If you are continuing your learning from home, then a pack has been provided for you with your name on and will be left in school’s reception area. Please pick it up at a convenient time for you and follow the information on Week 11’s Home Learning plan. We will add new sessions to complete each week. You will also find attached a ‘Bubble’ sheet for your Religion work.
Thank you again to all those children who have been emailing work into school. Please keep it up:we enjoy seeing all your hard work and are proud of the excellent effort you are putting in as we appreciate how hard it can be to motivate yourself at times, especially as the weeks pass.
Missing you all so much,
Love Mrs Jones, Mrs Evans and Mrs Stanley xxxx
