Hello and Happy Easter 6E,
Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. At least the sun was shining! It was very strange not spending any time in church or attending y3/4 Easter Service- it just wasn’t the same. You’ll be pleased to know that I made myself feel better by eating lots of chocolate- I ate way too much!
On Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt in the garden, Sam and Thomas were lucky they found any, as I raced around the garden to collect my stash- I was very excited about eating chocolate, as you know, I’d given it up for Lent ( kind of). We then went out on a lovely bike ride along the River Mersey, which is very close to my house.
I hope you’ve managed to write your letter to Hotel Football, the manager has just sent me a text asking when they will be arriving. I told him I’d remind you what an important thing this is to do. Maybe you could take a picture of your card or letter and send it to Mr Mountcastle so we can put it on our Twitter page.
I have heard on the news that Denmark is sending primary schools back very soon- I hope this happens in the UK soon too-I miss you all! Yes, all of you!
Keep working hard, I don’t want you to forget about all the outstanding progress that you’ve made. I’m still your teacher and I’m still incredibly proud of you- you’re living history right now! Wow.... so you’ll always be special. My Thomas is writing a diary, it’s a bit boring, because it’s the same everyday, but he believes it will be a historical document - like Samuel Pepys diary!
lots of love to you all, until we meet again ( I sound like the Queen),
