We printed red roses for St. George’s Day. We heard how St. George was very brave. We heard the legend of him fighting the dragon and saving the princess!

We talked about our planet and how we have to look after it. We can help by tidying our classroom. We made Earth shapes by using paper plates, paint and shaving foam.

Bye, Bye, Butterfly!
Today we took our butterflies out to Tim’s Garden and let them fly away! We have loved watching them develop from tiny caterpillars.

Printed Butterflies
This week we made a lovely butterfly by painting on half of him and then making a print on the other side of him. We had to open the shape carefully, it was a surprise to see the patterns that we had made.

Measurement
We have been talking about measurement and size. We talked about LONG and SHORT, TALL and SHORT, HEAVY and LIGHT and FULL and EMPTY. We did lots of different activities to help us to understand these concepts and we made a display to help us remember them!
